マックス・ペインのストーリーはヒットしたビデオゲームのキャラクターに基づいています。ペインの妻子は殺害されました。これは敵にとって大きな間違いでした。というのは彼は彼の妻子を殺した者を彼の時間とエネルギー全部費やして探すからです。映画はメートリックスで使用されたような特別効果を使っています。弾がスローモーションで飛ぶところが見られる、などです。アクションシーンも素晴らしいです。彼は復讐のために敵を最高に痛い目を合わせるつもりです。公平に言うならば、この映画はスーパーマリオブラザーズより全然良いでしょう。

Who doesn’t know Casper the friendly ghost who with his three pesky and annoying co-ghosts live in the haunted mansion known as Whipstaff. The movie is a classic with the famous line, “Can I Keep You”, spoken by the ghost who finds a friend in the character of Christina Ricci who plays Kat, daughter of the paranormal expert played by Bill Pullman. Bill or rather Dr James Harvey is hired to get rid of the ghost infestation in the Whipstaff manor mansion which was inherited by greedy Heiress Carreigan Crittenden who wants to tear down the mansion but is prevented from doing so by the resident supernatural beings, namely Casper and his three uncles. Kinda’ more for the kids but the story line is more of blind love rather than pure child’s play.
The movie was produced by legend Steven Spielberg who along with director Brad Silberling did a wonderful job of adapting the character created in 1940 by Joe Orolio into a masterpiece of one of the earliest CGI movies of all time.
