Nicolas Roeg’s Don’t Look Now is a stunning film that starts off with the tragic drowning of the red raincoated Baxter daughter. Her grieving parents John Baxter (Donald Sutherland) and his wife Laura (Julie Christie) go on a vacation in Venice in an attempt to recover from their daughter’s sudden death. However, this movie is most well known for its controversial love-making scene in the middle of the movie. Rumor says that Donald Sutherland and Julia Christie were actually doing the sex act itself while they were filming. The shocking conclusion is also a scene that should not be missed.
