Information
The classic Disney animated movie Lion King contains many magical moments kids will remember well into adulthood, and one of them is the cruel death of Mufasa after he rescues his young son Simba from a herd of stampeding wildebeasts (which was caused by his scheming, power-hungry brother Scar and his posse of hyenas). Because of the stampede, Mufasa nearly falls of a cliff and hangs on by a paw, and when he called out to Scar for help, Scar pushed him instead while sarcastically proclaiming, “Long live the king!” Mufasa falls to his death and Simba tries to awaken is father in vain. When he realized that his father was dead, he sheds a few tears and snuggles up to his body.
